One Direction take part in Text Santa Auction

Publish date: 2024-05-06

This Holiday season the boys of One Direction have once again chosen to take part in ITV’s Text Santa campaign.

ITV released a video of One Direction where the boys think back to what Christmas morning was like when they were younger. They say that their Christmas presents seemed like the most important thing in the world. The lads remember all of the gifts that Santa forgot to give them, like Batman pajamas, football boots, a flip-phone or a bike – things that seemed completely indispensable to a child. Today, they realize that those things aren’t that important and that many people are in the need of food and shelter during Christmas time.

Because of this, the four members of One Direction have decided to donate Christmas Jumpers to the Text Santa charity. The four jumpers are signed by the boys and will be auctioned off. All proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children UK, which are the three charity organizations that ITV’s Text Santa is supporting this year.

The bid for Harry Styles’ Christmas jumper is currently at £1,220.00. It is possible to bid on it here.

The bid for Louis Tomlinson’s Christmas jumper is currently at £1,060.00. It is possible to bid on it here.

The bid for Liam Payne’s Christmas jumper is currently at £920.00. It is possible to bid on it here.

The bid for Niall Horan’s Christmas jumper is currently at £2.050.00. It is possible to bid on it here.

The auction closes on December 22nd so you have five more days if you want to participate in it. If you want to help but can’t afford to bid on one of the boys’ jumpers it is possible to donate directly to the Text Santa charity. For more information go to Text Santa’s website.
