Laney Chantal Obituary: What Was Her Cause Of Death?

Alaina Chantal Parkhurst, known to many as Laney Chantal, 33 years old, of Manitou Ocean side, MI, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022.

The cause of death was complications due to an accidental overdose. Mental health issues plagued Ms. Parkhurst throughout her adult life. 

A funeral is scheduled for 12 November 2022, though the location has yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date via social media.

Many will remember Ms. Parkhurst from her appearances on ICP’s Patreon/Jerk shows. Others may recognize her from shows and Juggalo occasions. Still, others had the honor of calling her a friend.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Laney’s friends, family, and all those whose lives she touched.

Laney’s family wanted to share information about mental illness and where to seek help, as mental illness was a factor in her death. 

Alaina battled various mental illnesses throughout her adulthood. In honor of Laney and her struggles with mental illness, her family is asking for donations to be made to The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation.

This organization is dedicated to lessening the pain caused by mental illness by awarding grants for scientific research that will lead to breakthroughs and advances.
