Aaron Rodgers Is Meeting With The New York Jets Celeb Secrets

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers may depart from the only team he has played for in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers. ESPN NFL insider Dianna Russini took to Twitter with news about the Jets top officials heading to California to meet with Rodgers in person.

In his eighteen seasons with the Packers, Rodgers has a Super Bowl, four MVP trophies, and ten Pro Bowl selections. Rodgers stepped in for another Hall of Fame QB in Brett Favre following the 2007 season, and never looked back.

As for the Jets, New York is at an interesting point as the team was able to outplay expectations last season but could not clinch a postseason spot after having inconsistent play from the quarterback position.

The Jets had three different starting quarterbacks throughout the season, Zach Wilson, Joe Flacco, and Mike White. With a high-caliber defense led by defensive-minded head coach Robert Saleh, it seems as if Gang Green is looking to be aggressive and keep this window of opportunity of having a great defense from slipping away.

A team that found themselves in a similar situation as the Jets currently are in a few years ago was the Chicago Bears. The Bears had arguably the best defense in football for about three-four years but were never able to capture a championship due to inconsistency from the quarterback position and the offense as a whole.

These reports indicate that the Jets brass flew on owner Woody Johnson’s plane to secure an in-person meeting with Rodgers to discuss the possibility of him becoming New York’s QB1.

All in all, it will be interesting to see if Rodgers steps in the footsteps of his Packers predecessor Favre by also joining the New York Jets.
